  • African Roots Act 2

    African Roots

    CD / Act 2 / Wackies Music

African Roots Act 2 is part of a series (Act 3 is the latest) of dub versions Bullwackie made in 1982 from some of the records he recorded. The 10 tracks have smooth production and lots of the echo and reverb we all love dub for.

  • NagNagNag by Cabaret Voltaire

    Cabaret Voltaire

    CD5 / NagNagNag mixes / NovaMute

Little Miss Trinitron is from Manchester and is actually a guy named Stuart. CPU Song has a two- note rising melody and a drum machine rhythm. The second track is a cover of The Eagles' Hotel California with a reggae dub meets moog synthesizer and Wendy Carlos feel.

  • Twisted Nerve Zoo

    Twisted Nerve Zoo

CD / various / Twisted Nerve Records

Twisted Nerve have created their own animal kingdom with this compilation. It's hard to tell if the tracks here are exclusive or previously released. I think it's a bit of both, but I could be wrong. The sounds make for some interesting imagery.
