Gina X Performance

title:: Nice Mover
label:: LTM

Gina X Performance combined together the sounds of David Bowie's synth sounds from his Heroes/Low time period and mixed it with their own brand of androgynous Germanic rock sounds to create a real and potent mix of new wave music.

Their debut album Nice Mover was released in 1979.

Magnetic Fields

title:: The House of Tomorrow
label:: Merge

House of Tomorrow is the fourth Magnetic Fields release. In 1999 this EP was was reissued on CD by Merge who now owns and distributes the entire Magnetic Fields collection.

Five songs that total 12 minutes are indicative of their earlier sound that is marked by a more electric, muddled, and dense production that has evolved to a more sparse and simple sound.

Lee Perry

title:: I Am The Upsetter

Lee 'Scratch' Perry is practically untouchable. His hands have been deep in every era of reggae from the late 60s to today.

This box set is divided into eras: Disc 1: 1968 to 1971, Disc 2: 1972 to 1974, Disc 3: 1975 to 1978, and Disc 4: 1974 to 1978 Dub & Instrumentals.
